The Western Suburbs Magpies are on the road this week, travelling to GIO Stadium to take on the Canberra Raiders for Round 21 of the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup.
Kicking off at 5.15pm on Saturday, they’ll be looking to make it two wins on the trot after last week’s high-scoring triumph over the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
A strong first half from the Magpies saw them take a 28-12 lead into the sheds, going on to contain a strong Bulldogs fightback in the second stanza to claim a 36-30 victory.
A few big inclusions to the backline will mean that Jeral Skelton and Heamasi Makasini start on the wings, with Starford To’a coming in at centre.
Ben Stevanovic will wear the #6 jersey, partnering Jock Madden in the halves.
The forward pack sees just one change, with Christian Taupau-Moors starting in the front row in what will be his second NSW Cup appearance of the year.
