Wests Tigers come together for Cultural Day
Wests Tigers NRL and NRLW players joined coaching and administration staff for an enjoyable Cultural Day on Monday. Following a Welcome to Country and Smoking ceremony, artist Melissa Barton spoke about the story of our Indigenous Jersey before a variety of dance, movement, painting and education acitivities.
Wests Tigers respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
