A late comeback by the Wests Tigers was not enough to secure the victory at CommBank Stadium in Round 24 of the Telstra Premiership.
In their final home game of the season, the Tigers trailed 18-6 at half-time before a gallant fightback saw them fall short, with the Dragons winning 24-22.
It was a big night for WT 313 Solomone Saukuru, who scored a double on debut, which helped bring the side close in the dying minutes.

31st minute: Hamish Stewart goes over on the left. Valentine Holmes converts. Dragons 12-6.
38th minute: Moses Suli makes a run and goes over on the right edge. Holmes converts. Dragons 18-6.
49th minute: Alex Seyfarth makes a breakaway run down the middle and finds Samuela Fainu on his left, who goes over to bring the Tigers back into the game. Doueihi converts. Dragons 18-12.
59th minute: Lyhkan King-Togia goes over following a Sloan kick. Holmes converts. Dragons 24-12.
71st minute: Luai gives the inside ball to Koroisau, who breaks away and gets it to Solomone Saukuru to score a try on debut on the left side. Doueihi unable to convert. Dragons 24-16.
76th minute: The ball is spread, with Jahream Bula getting it off to Saukuru to get his second try of the night on the left edge. Doueihi converts from wide. Dragons 24-22.
