Wests Tigers secured their fifth win of the Telstra Women’s Premiership with a hard fought 30-22 victory over the Warriors at CommBank Stadium today.
The Tigers started strongly to get to a 16-0 lead after 20 minutes before the Warriors hit back to trail 16-12 at half-time.
The second half saw the scores level after 60 minutes before ‘super sub’ Faythe Manera scored the match-winning try for the second consecutive week.
The match marked the NRLW debut of two exciting players for Wests Tigers in Kayla Henderson and Leah Ollerton.
The win moved the Tigers into fourth place ahead of the Warriors.

11th minute: Full-back Caitlin Turnbull takes a crossfield kick from half-back Raecene McGregor to score under the posts. McGregor converts. Tigers 6-0.
17th minute: Tigers shift the ball to the left for winger Lily Rogan to finish off a nice try. McGregor converts. Tigers 12-0.
21st minute: Rogan crosses for her second try in similar fashion to her first. Tigers 16-0.
28th minute: Tysha Ikenasio crosses out wide for the Warriors. Tigers 16-4.
32nd minute: Warriors centre Stacey Waaka slices through a gap to score next to the posts. Tigers 16-8
35th minute: Warriors five-eighth Emmanita Paki races 60 metres to score in corner. Tigers 16-12
46th minute: Wests Tigers centre Namoe Gesa shows great strength and determination to get the ball down for a vital try out wide. McGregor converts. Wests Tigers 22-12.
56th minute: Tysha Ikenasio grabs her second try for the Warriors. Tigers 22-16.
59th minute: Warriors lock Kaiyah Atai crosses to level the scores. 22-22.
64th minute Faythe Manera darts from dummy half to find a hole to dive over. McGregor converts. Tigers 28-22.
79th minute: McGregor converts penalty goal. Tigers 30-22
Wests Tigers now play the Newcastle Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle, on Saturday, 22nd August, at 12.45pm.
