Kai Pearce‑Paul  selected in England World Cup squad

Wests Tigers back-rower Kai Pearce‑Paul has been selected in the England squad for the 2026 Rugby League Men's World Cup.

Pearce‑Paul previously represented England at the 2022 World Cup, where he scored a try playing centre in the 94-4 win over Greece in Sheffield.

A Super League Grand Final winner in 2023, the towering forward also played in England's successful Test series against Samoa in 2024.

Pearce‑Paul scored four tries in his 12 games in his first season at Wests Tigers in 2026 before suffering a pec injury against the Gold Coast Titans in Round 15.

England play Tonga in their opening game at HBF Park, Perth, on Saturday, 17 October at 8.05pm.
