Lee Hagipantelis (Chair)
Lee Hagipantelis is the Principal of Brydens Lawyers — the major sponsor of Wests Tigers — having assumed ownership of the largest litigation firm in New South Wales in 2012. Lee has been a long-time passionate supporter of Wests Tigers, not only as a corporate sponsor but as an individual as well. In recognition of that passion and commitment for Wests Tigers, Lee was nominated and assumed the role of Chair during 2019.
Tony Andreacchio is the Principal of Raine & Horne Real Estate who has been a member of Wests Ashfield for over 30 years. For more than a decade, Tony has been an executive of the Ashfield Chamber of Commerce, Area Chairman of the Ashfield Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal and the Vincentian Fathers Advisory Board Oceania. He was appointed to the Board of Western Suburbs District Rugby League Football Club in 2014 and presently serves on the Board of the Western Suburbs District Cricket Club. Tony has been a Board Member of Wests Tigers since 2012.
Dennis Burgess is a professional musician and Managing Director of Burgess Ventures, which encompasses Regal Records, A Red Letter Day Event Management, UBERfest Festivals, Burgess Bookings and Above All Secreterial. Other business involvements include being the Chairman of the Australian Songwriters Association (ASA) and Director of Association of Artists Managers (AAM). Dennis has been a Debenture Holder of Western Suburbs Leagues Club since 1996 and a Director for the past 19 years.
Simon Cook was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Wests Ashfield in 2011 after having held the position of Chief Operating Officer for five years prior. Simon has held various positions across all departments in the hospitality industry and has qualifications in Accounting for Management, Organisational Behaviour, Marketing Management and Financial Management.
Mick Liubinskas's rugby league career began with Western Suburbs in 1972 and included stints at Balmain and Umina prior to his retirement in 1981. He continued his involvement with the game that included Wests Jersey Flegg Coach (1995-96), Metropolitan Cup (2000) and NSWRL Junior Representative Selector (2003-09). As well as being a Debenture Holder and Director of Wests Ashfield, Mick is also on the Board of Western Suburbs, President of the Pratten Park Magpies Past Players Association and a member of the Men of League Foundation.
James Myatt is the General Manager of Future Energy at Caltex Australia, a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute (FAMI) and a Member of the Institute of the Company Directors. Previously, James was the CEO of Hunter Energy, the CEO and Co-Founder of Mojo Power and the CEO of Australian Power & Gas. Currently, James is a Director of Balmain Tigers and Chairman of the Wests Tigers Foundation which seeks to build sustainable success for the club both on and off the field.
Danny Stapleton is the Director of Priority One Coatings, a painting and decorating firm. A former player of the Balmain Tigers in 1993 and 1994, Danny also serves as the Chair of the Wests Tigers Football Committee.
Rick Wayde initially became a Wests Magpies Football Club Official in 1981 and was appointed as the Magpies' first full-time General Manager in 1983. He has subsequently served on a variety of Wests Board — initially elected as a Director of Wests Ashfield Leagues Club in 1984. Along with a long-term involvement in broadcasting, Rick has been employed in a variety of other roles with sporting and business bodies. Currently, Rick serves as the Western Suburbs District Cricket Club Secretary and an active member of the Wests Tigers Football Committee.
