Pasifika Youth Summit
The 2025 Pasifika Youth Summit brought our theme Tales of the Tiger – Our Stripes, Our Stories to life, celebrating the rich weaving traditions that have long carried the stories, identities, and histories of Pasifika peoples. Just as fine mats and tapa cloths preserve the legacy of our ancestors, this year’s Summit became a tapestry woven from the voices, experiences, and “stripes” of every young person who attended.
Students shared their journeys, embraced their cultural heritage, and discovered the strength that emerges when individual stories are woven together in unity. The Summit highlighted leadership, identity, and community pride, creating a space where Pasifika youth felt inspired, empowered, and deeply connected.
As we look ahead, next year’s Summit promises to be even greater. Building on the momentum, unity, and talent showcased this year, we are preparing an even more powerful experience—one that elevates our young people further, strengthens regional connections, and continues to honour the stories that shape our Blue Pacific future.
