Wests Tigers star recruit Braith Anasta says the club is poised for a successful 2013 NRL season after a hard pre-season under new coach Mick Potter.

The former New South Wales Blues five eighth told Wests Tigers TV he is feeling fresh after a move from the Sydney Roosters.

Wests Tigers will take on the Roosters in the Foundation Cup
on Saturday at Allianz Stadium.

"I'm feeling really good at the moment," said Anasta, "it's been a great off-season at the Wests Tigers."

"I'm really enjoying my time here, we're training the house down.

"For me, it's a great experience to come and play with the likes of Benji Marshall, Robbie Farah and Adam Blair.

"I couldn't ask for a better preseason. I'm really excited to play the game against the Roosters on the weekend and also to start the season.

"We'd love all you fans to come out and cheer us on and be there throughout the season.

"I know it helps, it helps me and it helps the other boys. We're pumped for a big year."
