Two of Wests Tigers celebrity supporters will be on the clippers to cut the hair of Adam Blair and Blake Ayshford at Concord Oval tomorrow (Tuesday, February 26).

Blair and Ayshford have decided it is time to remove their big crop of hair to help promote the annual World's Greatest Shave event.

IBF Middleweight boxing champion Daniel Geale and Merrick Watts from Triple M radio show, The Highway Patrol, will take to the clippers to help cut the players hair. They will be assisted by Toni & Guy hairdressers.

DONATE TO THE WESTS TIGERS TEAM PAGE

It has taken me over a year to grow my hair the way it is today. It is time for it to go and there is no better cause than to do it in support of the Leukaemia Foundation, Blair said.

As one of Australias biggest fundraising events, this charity challenge raises vital funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.

Blake and I encourage Wests Tigers supporters to get behind us and make a donation on our team page. We have set a target of $1000 but it would be great if we could raise more funds.

Worlds Greatest Shave is from 14-17 March 2013 but Wests Tigers wanted to get in early and help raise awareness of this event.

Shaves can take place throughout the year. The Foundation encourages registrants to shave their head or colour their hair to raise funds to support the 11,500 Australians that will be diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphomas, myeloma and other related blood disorders this year. There are currently 50,000 people living with blood cancer.

The Leukaemia Foundation doesnt receive any ongoing government funding and without the help of the community, it wouldnt be able to continue providing personalised support to patients and their families.
