Here are some of the key player match ups for the clash between Wests Tigers and Penrith Panthers at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on Sunday, March 17.

Aaron Woods v Tim Grant

Wests Tigers prop Aaron Woods goes head-to-head with NSW Origin incumbent Tim Grant this Sunday, with both players pushing for selection in this years series.

Woods had his first taste of representative football last year when he earned selection for City Origin and the PMs XIII.

Many have tipped the burly prop to debut for the Blues in 2013 with this Sundays encounter the perfect test against Grant.

Grant debuted for NSW last year after impressive form for the Panthers and made a big impact in his two games of Origin.

Woods will be looking to add some more muscle to the Wests Tigers pack this week when he comes off the interchange bench.

Liam Fulton v Lewis Brown

This back-row battle will be another key match up in the 'Battle of the West', with Wests Tigers Liam Fulton keen to impress after recently inking a three-year extension at the club.

Wests Tigers Coach Mick Potter told weststigers.com.au he was impressed with Fultons never say die attitude during the loss to Newcastle.

Fulton has been a valuable member of the Wests Tigers pack over the past few seasons and will this week will face New Zealand International, Lewis Brown.

Brown played his first match for the Panthers last week after making his way across the Tasman from the New Zealand Warriors and made 27 tackles in the impressive 32-10 victory over Canberra.

Adam Blair v Sika Manu

These two Kiwi Internationals face off in what is sure to be a physical encounter between the two explosive back-rowers.

The pair have played a lot of football together; making their debuts for the Melbourne Storm and both being a part of the New Zealand 2008 World Cup winning team.

Blair has 26 Tests for New Zealand under his belt compared to Manu's 14.

Manu was impressive in his Penrith debut last week, scoring a try, running for 85 metres and racking up 24 tackles in their big win over Canberra.

Blair, who also opened his try scoring account in Round 1, will be looking to lay the platform in the forwards for playmakers Benji Marshall and Jacob Miller and lead the Wests Tigers to their first victory of 2013.

Robbie Farah v Kevin Kingston

Wests Tigers Captain Robbie Farah will pack down against opposition skipper Kevin Kingston as both players look to lead from the front.

Both are renowned for their tireless work-rate as Farah showed last week with his 53-tackle display against Newcastle.

Kingston will again rotate the hooking-role with live-wire recruit James Segeyaro, with his impact being highly effective last week against the Raiders.

It is not often that the two captains face off in the same position with Farah hoping to lead the Wests Tigers to victory after a disappointing team display last week.
