A friendship between the two NYC coaches will be pushed aside when Wests Tigers tackle Parramatta Eels at Leichhardt Oval on Friday, March 22.

Premiership winning Coach Todd Payten will again oversee the Wests Tigers side whilst last years Balmain SG Ball premiership winning Coach Andrew Webster is in his first season at Parramatta.

Webster assisted Payten last season in the NYC competition.

Parramatta is a monster side who flogged the Warriors first round and mixed it with the Bulldogs last week, Payten said.

We are going to have to be willing to stand up to them physically and control where we give them the ball. We need to get in an arm wrestle with them and go set for set. If we cough ball up in our own end, they will grow an arm and a leg and be very hard to stop.

Andrew is a mate of mine and he will know what to expect from us and vice versa. It will come down to which team is better over the full 80 minutes. I know a lot of us are keen to get one over him.

Kick-off is 5.50pm. Both sides are on two competition points.
