Wests Tigers front rower Aaron Woods today told assembled media that he is ready to play State of Origin, should selectors come calling.
Woods was 18th man for New South Wales during last year's series and feels he is ready to make the next step.
The big prop forward has put his focus on performing for his club side. He will now shoulder much of the responsibility in the forward pack, with Keith Galloway joining Matt Groat and James Gavet on the sidelines.
