Wests Tigers are expecting the biggest crowd of the season to pack the Sydney Cricket Ground for the blockbuster Heritage Round 6 fixture against St George-Illawarra Dragons.

DON'T MISS OUT - SECURE YOUR SEAT NOW!

Wests Tigers are out for revenge against St George-Illawarra when we take on the Dragons at the SCG 50 years after the legendary 1963 Grand Final.

Both clubs will wear replica 1963 jerseys on Sunday, April 14 3.00pm at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

In a game that went down in infamy, the mighty St George defeated Western Suburbs 8-3 on their way to 11 consecutive premierships, in a game shrouded in refereeing controversy.

The Grand Final is also famous for providing the stage for the most famous photo in Australian Rugby League - the Gladiators image, which now adorns the NRL trophy.

The Gladiators, Wests halfback Arthur Summons and St George enforcer Norm Provan, will be on hand at the SCG with a host of other legends from the era in what will be a truly special occasion.

Wests Tigers are encouraging supporters to secure their seats early in anticipation of the huge crowd expected.
