Wests Tigers NSW Cup coach Paul Fletcher has been given a boost, with a number of first grade players to play with his 5th placed side on Saturday.

The likes of Jacob Miller, Bodene Thompson and Ava Seumanufagai will bolster an already formidable line up which also features the returning Matt Groat.

Wests Tigers will take on Illawarra Cutters at Belmore Sports Ground on Saturday, 20 April at 1.00pm.

Fletcher sees Illawarra as a side building form.

"Illawarra had a win last week," said Fletcher.

"They struggled at the start of the season, but so did we.

"We've got quite a few first graders coming back.

"Mick Potter wants to have a look, especially with guys coming back from injury."

Fletcher has arguably the most damaging player in NSW Cup at his disposal, with giant Fijian Taqele Naiyaravoro terrorising defences.

With Naiyaravoro seemingly scoring at will, excitement is building amongst fans at the potential of the enormous winger.

"I'm excited too," said Fletcher.

"I wouldn't like to be an opposition winger when the ball goes out to our left edge and you've got 'Big T' there.

"I hope I don't put the mock on him but he hasn't dropped a ball all season. He's a pretty frightening sight."
