Wests Tigers GPS Technician and former player Simon Dwyer has this year continued in his role as Assistant Coach of the City Origin team.

Dwyer told Wests Tigers TV the Club's three representatives will take the experience of camp back to Wests Tigers training.

"The week has been good," said Dwyer. "All the boys are gelling together really well.

"They're going good.

"It will be a really good opportunity for them to learn off the senior players in the team and taste a bit of rep football."

Dwyer is still heavily involved in rugby league, despite sustaining a long-term injury. City coach Brad Fittler brought Dwyer onto his staff last season.

"It gives me something to do since I'm not playing NRL at the moment," said Dwyer.

"I was pretty surprised when Freddy gave me the call and invited me down. I was happy with that."
