Wests Tigers coach Mick Potter has exclusively revealed to Members an update on the injury status of experienced lock Braith Anasta.

Anasta will not be named in this weeks side to play the Sharks, with Potter admitting he is not far off a return.

He is very very close, Id like to see him back in the near future. Potter said.

He is actually close to coming back this week but we have got a pleasant welcoming back of a whole heap of players after the bye.

Marika Koroibete, Keith Galloway and James Gavet will all be close by then so hopefully we wont get too many injuries in the meantime and we will be in good shape.

Potter said the vocal crowd at Leichhardt Oval last weekend was a key factor in getting the win against Melbourne.

Id like to thank the Members and supporters that came out to Leichhardt Oval, it was fantastic and gave us a great atmosphere. Potter said

Under the (weather) conditions it was just horrible for everyone and I would like to thank all who made it there.

Stay tuned for the full team announcement coming soon on weststigers.com.au
