Robbie Farah and Benji Marshall last night became the inaugural Life Members of the Wests Tigers, highlighting their significant contributions at the Club over the past decade.
The final home game of 2013 at Allianz Stadium marked substantial milestones for both players, with Farah now having played the most games for Wests Tigers and Marshall making his 200th NRL appearance.
Wests Tigers chairman Mike Bailey and deputy chairman Nick Di Girolamo presented the pair with the awards following the clash with South Sydney.
Both Farah and Marshall debuted for the Wests Tigers in 2003, winning a premiership together in 2005 and dazzling supporters with their performances over the years.
Wests Tigers CEO Grant Mayer said the contributions that both Farah and Marshall have made at the Club over the years have been outstanding.
Our board carefully developed a criteria for the inaugural Wests Tigers Life Membership, Mayer said.
Once agreed upon, there was resounding support for Benji and Robbie to be the inaugural recipients.
Both have contributed unbelievably to the club over the last 10 years or so and no doubt they will be joined by other worthy recipients in years to come.
