Wests Tigers NSW and Holden Cup sides will both feature in semi-finals this weekend after thrilling victories in their respective Elimination Finals.
NSW Cup defeated Auckland Vulcans 34-24 on Saturday to move into this weekends semi-final against Newcastle. Leichhardt Oval will host the double-header, with Cronulla and Newtown playing beforehand. The winner of the Wests Tigers-Newcastle clash will play Windsor Wolves in the Grand Final qualifier.

Wests Tigers Under 20s were on the verge of elimination on Sunday, going into extra-time against Brisbane before a Salesi Funaki try broke the deadlock. The NYC side will now play Canberra on Friday afternoon in a replay of last years decider at Allianz Stadium. The winner will move through to the Grand Final qualifier against Penrith Panthers.

Western Suburbs Magpies have also qualified for the Ron Massey Cup Preliminary Final this Sunday as they take on Wentworthville. The Magpies scored a 24-20 semi-final victory over Cabramatta Two Blues last weekend. The winner of Sundays clash will book a place in next weekends decider.
