Wests Tigers Head Coach Mick Potter and his new-look coaching staff have begun preparations for season 2014, with pre-season training due to kick-off next week.

One of many exciting changes taking place at the Club, Todd Payten and David Kidwell will work with Potter as Assistant Coaches while Andrew Webster will take over as NYC Coach for the new season.

After a tough introduction to NRL coaching in 2013, Potter will begin his second year journey surrounded by a team that he was highly involved in assembling.

It's a good progression for Todd (Payten), he spent two successful years with the Under 20s and working closely over the last 12 months with me, Potter said.

"He is a good communicator and I like how he has worked with the younger kids who are stepping up this year.

"David (Kidwell) is going to give us another perspective and I think his attention to detail will be really important for us.

"That scope for analysing every single detail will help us and we will have it all covered."

Wests Tigers will also welcome back Andrew Webster as NYC Head Coach after spending the 2013 season with Parramatta's Under 20s side.

Webster previously worked under Payten as an Assistant during the Club's premiership-winning NYC 2012 season.

Full interviews with Kidwell, Payten and Webster will feature on weststigers.com.au over the coming days.
