Wests Tigers recognised the club's four round one debutants with a special presentation during training on Saturday.

Club debutants Cory Paterson, Martin Taupau, Keith Lulia and James Gavet were presented with their playing jerseys at the end of the team's final training run ahead of Sunday's round one clash against St George Illawarra at ANZ Stadium.

The team was joined by former Wests Tigers player Joel Caine, and Western Suburbs legend Wayne Smith for the jersey presentations at Concord Oval.

Ahead of Sunday's game 168 players have pulled on the Wests Tigers jersey with Joel Caine number one on the list. Caine and father-in-law Wayne Smith, who is the third most capped Magpie with 161 games, spent time with the team talking about their first games for their respective clubs.

Wests Tigers will take on St George Illawarra at ANZ Stadium on Sunday, with the opening round match kicking off at 3pm.
