Balmain Tigers and Western Suburbs Magpies ended their 2014 regular season competitions in both Harold Matthews and SG Ball with Round 9 matches over the weekend.
Balmain won both their Round 9 matches over Illawarra Steelers in convincing fashion and, in doing so, booked a place in the finals for both competitions. Unfortunately, Western Suburbs lost both their Round 9 matches and narrowly missed out on a finals berth.
