Wests Tigers centre Tim Simona will miss two matches after being charged with a Grade 2 Dangerous Throw by the NRL Match Review Committee.

The tackle on Titans five-eighth Aiden Sezer occurred in the 49th minute of Sunday’s match at Leichhardt Oval, with Simona today entering an early guilty plea resulting in the two-match ban.

Simona was selected in Samoa’s squad for this Saturday’s International against Fiji, with that match now included in the suspension.

The centre will miss the Wests Tigers’ Round 9 game against Sydney Roosters, before being available for selection in the following match against Cronulla.

Bodene Thompson has also entered an early guilty plea for a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge, however will escape suspension.
