Wests Tigers will look to cap off a night of celebration for their 15th Anniversary with a win when they take on the Brisbane Broncos in their Round 11 clash.

Fifteen seasons on since the joint venture Club played their first game against the Broncos at Campbelltown Sports Stadium in Round 1, 2000, Wests Tigers will be gunning for an inspirational victory over their strong opponents, and hoping that a huge home crowd can help lift them over the line on the night.

Brisbane have been hit harder by Origin selection this year — with three players selected to the Wests Tigers’ two — but there’s no doubt that Robbie Farah and Aaron Woods will be sourly missed by the hosts in both attack and defence.

Can Wests Tigers make it back-to-back wins as they head into the Round 12 bye, or will the visitors spoil the celebrations planned for the night?

Read on for a full match preview including all the key match details, live stream and TV info as well as player analysis and statistics.

Last Time They Met

Round 14, 2013: Brisbane Broncos 32 def. Wests Tigers 12

It was a dominant win for the Broncos when these two teams met at Suncorp Stadium last year, with an injury-depleted Wests Tigers side unable to match the strike power of the hosts. Josh Hoffman grabbed a double on the wing for Brisbane, while James Tedesco and Sauaso Sue gave some respectability for the visitors.

Match History: Played 23, Wests Tigers 4, Brisbane Broncos 17, Drawn 2

Number to Know — 94

Pat Richards has scored 94 points so far this season in the NRL — more than any other player in the competition. He’ll line up for Wests Tigers this weekend while Brisbane’s leading point-scorer — Corey Parker, 52 points — will miss the match due to Origin commitments. That will likely see Ben Hunt take over the goal kicking (having kicked four goals already this year), with the halfback also accounting for a team-high seven tries so far this season. With Parker out, Hunt is the Broncos’ next leading point-scorer with 36 points.
