Wests Tigers are asking Members and fans to help the Club select its 15th Anniversary Team by voting online.

With voting now closed for the entire backline, the focus is now moves to the forwards with the position of prop having five nominees to choose from.

The two top-polling players will be revealed, along with the entire team of fifteen years, at the Club’s Gala Dinner on Tuesday, July 15.

John Skandalis played 185 NRL matches for the Wests Tigers during his eight seasons at the Club. Part of the Western Suburbs Magpies squad before the joint venture, Skandalis scored the Club’s first ever try against Brisbane in Round 1, 2000. ‘Skando’ played in the premiership-winning 2005 Grand Final side and represented City Origin on four occasions.

One of just eight players to have played more than 150 first grade games for Wests Tigers, Bryce Gibbs made his debut for the Club in 2003 and went on to play at total of 155 matches. Gibbs scored a try in the 2005 Grand Final victory and represented City Origin during his time with Wests Tigers.

An illustrious career that spanned 16 seasons, Todd Payten played eight of those years at Wests Tigers. Following previous stints at Canberra and Sydney Roosters, Payten joined the Club in 2004 and won a premiership the following year. The prop forward played a total of 151 games for Wests Tigers before his retirement in 2011.

Current squad member Aaron Woods has already achieved numerous accolades in his 74-game career. At just 23-years-old, Woods has played three Origins for New South Wales and appeared twice for City Origin. Making his NRL debut in 2011, Woods was named the Club’s Rookie of the Year and has already established himself within the Club’s leadership group.

Keith Galloway has played 142 NRL games for Wests Tigers since joining the Club in 2006. Galloway is one of just five players to have represented Australia whilst at Wests Tigers, playing in the 2011 Four Nations tournament. The former Cronulla Shark also played one game for NSW Origin and three matches for City Origin.
