Brydens Lawyers Wests Tigers Academy have got their development program off to a strong start with a dominant 32-4 win over the Parramatta Eels.

Played at Cabramatta Sports Ground, the match featured players aged both 16 and 17, with Wests Tigers’ Academy team made up of players who had played either SG Ball or Harold Matthews for Balmain or Western Suburbs in 2014.

The 32-4 scoreline perhaps didn’t show the full dominance that the Brydens Lawyers Academy side displayed, with no shots for goal taken on the night.

After conceding the opening try of the night, the Academy side quickly took control of the match and raced away with an eight-try to one victory.

Western Suburbs winger Justice Utatao grabbed a double on the night, while Richard Latu also impressed with a strong performance at lock.
