Wests Tigers centre Kyle Lovett spoke after making his first-grade debut in Saturday night's thrilling 19-18 win against the Gold Coast Titans.

Lovett, who was a late inclusion for Chris Lawrence in the centres, said while he was incredibly nervous leading into the match, was overjoyed with the way it panned out.

"I could have asked for anything better than that," he said after the match. "I played with all my mates tonight and we got the win on the bell — nothing better than that.

"It's a childhood dream come true to play NRL for the Wests Tigers.

"I've been watching some of the guys in our team play since I was in Year Seven, to finally be able to play with them is something that I've always wanted to do.

Hear what he had to say in full about his first-grade debut in the video above.
