Wests Tigers NYC Coach Brett Kimmorley has praised his team's forward pack as they recorded their first win of 2015 with a 50-26 win over the Dragons.

After a disappointing last start defeat to the Gold Coast Titans, Kimmorley's side raced to a 22-4 lead inside the opening 20 mintues and never looked back as fullback Mason Cerruto and five-eighth Te Maire Martin both grabbed doubles in the win.

Following the match, Kimmorley said that the freedom given to his halves and playmakers came off the back of a dominant forward performance, which he was extremely proud of.

"I thought our guys played really good tonight," he said. "We probably leaked a few tries, but a win's a win and we're on our way for season 2015.

"Our halves were great in creating chances and scoring tries, but I don't think they would have been able to do that without our forwards. They were very dominant."
