Wests Tigers forwards and backs go head-to-head as they give their tips for Round 4.

See who Brenden Santi and Delouise Hoeter have backed to get wins this week below.

Parramatta Eels vs. South Sydney Rabbitohs

Brenden Santi — “I think the Rabbitohs are hot. And when they’re hot, there’s not too many other teams that can match it with them at all.”

Delouise Hoeter — I think the Rabbitohs will win because GI and a lot of those outside backs are playing really well and in some good form. They’ll keep going what they’ve built on in the opening few games of the year.”

Wests Tigers vs. Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs

Brenden Santi  — “Hate to be a little biased here, but I think we’ve got this. Boys have prepared really well and I think taken a lot from last week. We were disappointed with how we finished that match given we stuck with Souths for 60 minutes, so I think we’ll be much better across the board this week.

Delouise Hoeter  — “No doubt. Don’t need to say any more than that.”

Cronulla Sharks vs. Gold Coast Titans

Brenden Santi — “Sharks are at home, so I think they’ll win there. Remondis isn’t an easy place to go, especially not when you’re coming from the Gold Coast.”

Delouise Hoeter — “I know the Sharks are struggling a bit at the moment, but I think they’ll get a win this week. I think Luke Lewis is back, or maybe his second week, so I think that’ll definitely help them and give them a boost in the middle.”

Newcastle Knights vs. Penrith Panthers

Brenden Santi — “I think this will be a really tough match. Newcastle are obviously playing well and at home, but I’m taking the Panthers. They’re playing some good footy and I think they really weren’t that far off the Roosters last week. Segeyaro is killing it, and he’ll lead them to a win.”

Delouise Hoeter — “I’ll back the Knights here. They’ve won a few close games so far already this year, away from home too, so I think they’ll get up again.”

St. George-Illawarra Dragons vs. Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles

Brenden Santi — “The Dragons aren’t in the best form and the Sea Eagles are always strong so I think they’ll just have too much for them.”

Delouise Hoeter — “I’ll back the Eagles too. Foran and Lyon back for them so I think that should give them that little bit extra from last week.”

New Zealand Warriors vs. Brisbane Broncos

Brenden Santi — “In New Zealand, but I still like the Broncos. They were really impressive last week and I think they might have just turned the corner.”

Delouise Hoeter — “I’m a Kiwi but I’m also from Queensland too, but I think the Broncos will get this one. Warriors dropped off a bit against Parra last week and I don’t think Wayne Bennett will let them get away with that this week.”

Sydney Roosters vs. Canberra Raiders

Brenden Santi — “Bit out there, but I’m going the Raiders here. Roosters backing up from Monday night, and the Raiders showed early last week that they’re definitely capable of points. Going the upset in this one.”

Delouise Hoeter — “Definitely Roosters. They’ve won most games other than that Souths one and they’ll be too good for Canberra.”

North Queensland Cowboys vs. Melbourne Storm

Brenden Santi — “In Townsville, I think the Cowboys need a win and they’ll get the win against the Storm. Melbourne don’t necessarily travel that well, especially all the way up to Townsville is a big week, so I think they’ll win.”

Delouise Hoeter —  “I’ll back the Cowboys too. Lachlan Coote, Michael Morgan and Jonathan Thurston will be better for the experience of playing together in their second game and they’ll click a bit more and have a good game.”
