Wests Tigers utility Dene Halatau says he's confident he'll take on the Warriors this Saturday night at Mount Smart Stadium despite a niggling quad injury.

Halatau, who trained again on Thursday and received a vote of confidence from Head Coach Jason Taylor that he would indeed take the field, said the injury wasn't feeling too bad and wouldn't stop the New Zealand international from facing the Warriors.

"I'm all ready to go," laughed Halatau at his press conference this morning.

"I just had a bit of a fitness test today and I'll have another one once I get over there but the body is feeling pretty good and I'm confident I'll play."

Hear what Halatau had to say in full about this week's match in the video above.

There's NOTHING quite like a packed hill! Be there on Sunday, April 19 when we take on the Canberra Raiders at Leichhardt Oval!
