Wests Tigers young gun Delouise Hoeter spoke after playing in his second NRL game on Friday night in the Club's dominant 38-14 win over the Bulldogs.

Hoeter, who was a late inclusion into the side as a replacement for Chris Lawrence, said he felt he adjusted the transition back into the NRL well, and said a strong combination with Kevin Naiqama on the right edge helped lay the platform for a good overall performance.

"I found it really good [playing in the centres] because it gives me a bit more space and ball to work with [than the wing]," Hoeter reflected. "I'm really happy with that move, and if I get to play a few more games there, I'll definitely take my chances."

"To go down to the Bulldogs in my first NRL game was memorable, but it was heartbreaking. But I was just really happy with how well the team played tonight. Every player stood up tonight and played the full 80 minutes, which was great to see."
