Wests Tigers NRL Head Coach Jason Taylor has labelled the return of Keith Galloway from injury as a key factor for his side this week as they look to build on a strong last-start win this Friday night against the Sydney Roosters.

Galloway, who missed last Friday’s 34-18 win against the Bulldogs with a shoulder injury, has been named to make his return this week, with Taylor believing his inclusion in the forward rotation will be a huge boost for his side’s chances on Friday night — especially with Martin Taupau and Aaron Woods backing up from representative duties.

“Keith coming back is really important from us,” said Taylor.

“It’s really important because the Roosters have a strong forward pack, and that’s where this game will be won and lost — as most gmes are won and lost.

“We need to be strong there for the 80 minutes, and they’ll test us out there.”

With the Roosters coming into Friday’s match on the back of four straight losses, Taylor said his side were still expecting a very tough battle against the 2013 premiers, and indicated that those results weren’t a true reflection of the Tricolours’ talent and ability.

“They’ve lost on the scoreboard [in those last four], but when you look at those games, they’re well and truly in every game that they’ve played this season,” Taylor said.

“They’re still defending really well, and that point hasn’t been missed by us.

"They’re a really good defensive team and even though they’ve lost those games, they’ve defended well in all of them so far so we’re expecting a tough tight game.”
