A positive James Tedesco says despite a run of three straight defeats heading into Sunday's match against the top-of-the-table Brisbane Broncos, his side certainly aren't dropping their heads and are heading to Suncorp Stadium full of confidence.
Tedesco, who is the only player in the competition so far to have directly scored or assisted 20 tries this season, said that his side hold no fear of facing the table-topping Broncos, having posted a number of strong wins against the top sides so far in 2015.
"We usually do step up against the big teams, so we're going in confident," said Tedesco.
"If we can just play like we did against Souths, and continue to step up against those big teams, then we'll definitely be going into this one positive of a good result.
"Brisbane are defending really well and are playing a lot of confident footy.
"I think they've all developed well as players under Wayne Bennett... so it's going to be a big test for our forwards to stop the go-forward of their pack and work hard in attack too.
"We've been not good enough over the last few weeks so there's lots to improve on.
"We knew when JT came in that it wasn't going to be all smooth sailing straight away and that it was going to take some time. We've shown glimpses of what we can do, but consistency has been a big key for us. We knew that with a lot of young players that was going to be an issue, but we're still quite positive and still enjoying our footy."
