Aaron Woods was on hand today to launch a special deal between Wests Tigers and the V8 Supercars Coates Hire Sydney 500, to be held at ANZ Stadium this year.

The deal sees any Wests Tigers ticketed Member receive free entry to one day of the V8 Supercars Coates Hire Sydney 500, to be held on December 4-6 — a deal also open to any Member of the Greater Western Sydney Giants (AFL) and Sydney Thunder (KFC Big Bash).

Fans who also purchase a three day "Grandstand Superpass for this year's Sydney 500 will also be able to attend a Wests Tigers game, a Sydney Thunder Big Bash game, a GWS Giants AFL game and a day at the Sydney Royal Easter Show free of charge in 2016.

While hesitant to jump behind the wheel of the supercar, Woods said the deal was a great one for fans, and showed the great value on offer for Wests Tigers Members in 2016.

"I think it's a great idea," Woods said. "I don't know of any other clubs that are doing it — I think we're the only one in the NRL, obviously with the GWS Giants as well.

"It's a great initiative with the V8 Supercars, and if it means that you're going to be here at ANZ Stadium later on watching the boys play — definitely get yourself a ticket!

"I think one of the big things as a Club we've done this year is put a lot more included.

"We want to get a lot more Members on board in 2016, and this is another one of the reasons why you should jump on board — you can spend a day out here watching the V8 Supercars at Homebush — and then watch the mighty Wests Tigers play as well!

Wests Tigers ticketed Members who would like to attend a day of the event can pick up their ticket from the marquee outside of Gate 5, near the Accreditaion Centre from Friday 4 December to Sunday 6 December.
