Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles could be without fullback Brett Stewart again this week after he was not named to face Wests Tigers at Leichhardt Oval on Monday night.

Having not featured in his side's Round 1 loss to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Stewart could again miss another week due to his hamstring injury, with Coach Trent Barrett saying that the fullback was "highly unlikely" to feature this weekend.

"He's still not right," Barrett told seaeagles.com.au.

"He ran yesterday and he's still not feeling it.

"We'll give him up until the game but it's highly unlikely he'll play."

After their opening round defeat to the Bulldogs, Barrett has made several changes to the Sea Eagles' side this week. Brenton Lawrence comes into the squad having played in the Intrust Super Competition last week along with Josh Starling, who will start at prop.

Jake Trbojevic has been named to start the match at lock, while former Wests Tigers forward Martin Taupau will make his return to Leichhardt Oval this weekend.

For Wests Tigers, having picked up an opening round victory over one of the competition heavyweights in the Warriors, Jason Taylor's side will be further boosted this weekend by the return of halfback Luke Brooks and utility Dene Halatau from suspension.

Halatau will start the match at hooker in replace of the injured Robbie Farah, with Manaia Cherrington dropping back to the bench alongside last week's debutant Josh Aloiai.

Wests Tigers have won four of their last five games against Manly at Leichhardt Oval.

Kickoff for the match is at 7:00pm AEDT on Monday, March 14.
