Wests Tigers Ava Seumanufagai says he knows exactly how the Newcastle Knights are feeling ahead of Saturday's game after coming off a heavy loss to the Sharks.

The prop forward, who impressed last week with another starting performance, said that the Knights — coming off a 62-0 drubbing by the Cronulla Sharks — would be desperate to bounce back this Saturday, and that that would make them tough opponents.

Having already gone through that this year himself (with a heavy loss to the Raiders in Round 8 followed by a bounce back win against the Rabbitohs in Round 9), Seumanufagai knows not to take their opponents lightly this week as they look to record another victory.

"It's tough [to have losses like that]," Seumanufagai said.

"But you've got to be tough to play this game.

"Both us and Newcastle are desperate for wins so it should be a tough game.

"Newcastle is a good opportunity for us to improve on last week.

"With so many losses, it can get tough, but this is a tough sport and we're all in it together so we've got to pull through together and get back with a win this week."

Saturday arvo footy returns to Campbelltown this week when we take on the Knights!
