Wests Tigers captain Aaron Woods spoke to the Big Sports Breakfast radio show on Wednesday morning.

Woods spoke about his return from a knee injury last weekend, the Bulldogs, Robbie Farah, this Saturday's game against Newcastle at Campbelltown and the need for consistency in the team's performances this year.

"It's a big game this weekend at Campbelltown against Newcastle," Woods said. "It's pretty much like our Grand Final to be honest.

"When you look at the previous times we've played Newcastle, no matter where they are on the ladder they always seem to beat us.

"I think I've only beaten the Knights once in my career, but the boys are definitely up for it."
