Wests Tigers forward Josh Aloiai says he's enjoying his new role in the Club's forward pack as he prepares for the biggest game of his young career this weekend.
The rookie Aloiai — who has featured in every game so far this season — says the move from the middle to the edge over the past few weeks has been an enjoyable one, but says he's more than happy to do whatever job is needed for the team over the Origin period.
"I think the transition to the edge has been good for me," Aloiai said.
"I'm still adapting to the new role, but it's been helpful having Mitch [Moses] there inside me and the other boys on that side to help me find my feet out there.
"I don't mind where I'm playing, as long as I'm playing in the team, and wherever I'm selected to play, I'm always going to be giving my best out there for the boys."
"I'm trying really hard to work hard and keep earning my jersey each week."
The 20-year-old admitted that while Saturday's win over the Knights wasn't the most polished of performances from his side, the Junior Kiwi representative said it was still an important win heading into a tough run of games over the State of Origin period.
"Hoepfully that's the start of some momentum for us," he said, "but there's still a lot of room to improve and lots we need to work on before we're at our best.
"We need to tidy up in defence and make sure we're completing our sets.
"It's exciting to be able to play a team like the Broncos. They're pretty much the benchmark in the NRL and they've got a lot of depth, but we're up for the challenge."
