Wests Tigers can provide the following injury update ahead of the Club’s Round 14 clash against the South Sydney Rabbitohs this Friday night at ANZ Stadium.

After missing Sunday’s game against the Sydney Roosters, Wests Tigers can confirm that hooker Matt Ballin will miss the the remainder of the season.

Ballin, who signed for Wests Tigers at the start of 2016, made his Club debut in Round 11 against the Newcastle Knights after missing the opening 10 rounds of the year with his recovery from an off-season knee reconstruction. After playing in the Club’s Round 11 win over the Broncos, scans on Ballin’s knee showed that the hooker would need another surgery before taking the field again — sidelining him for the rest of the year.

Ballin has not suffered the same injury that he came to Wests Tigers with, and has not ruptured again the same injury which he had surgery on last year.

The Club is extremely confident of having him in the team for the opening game of 2017.

Wests Tigers can also provide the latest injury news on Tim Grant and Curtis Sironen.

Grant (rib) is expected to make his return this Friday night against the South Sydney Rabbitohs, while Sironen (foot) is expected to be available for selection in Round 16.

James Tedesco made a successful return from his shoulder injury last Sunday, scoring a try in the Club’s defeat to the Roosters, and is right for selection this week.

Be there to cheer the boys on when they take on South Sydney Rabbitohs on June 10!
