Gold Coast Titans recruit Jarryd Hayne has been named to make his first start this Saturday, August 13 against Wests Tigers at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

Hayne made his Club debut off the interchange bench last week for the Titans, but has been moved into the starting side by Coach Neil Henry to replace Cameron Cullen.

Cullen drops back to the interchange bench alongside Ryan Simpkins, while co-captain Nathan Friend could make his return from injury, having been named in jersey 20.

With just four weeks remaining in the regular season, Saturday's clash could be crucial in the finals chances of both sides with Wests Tigers coming into the match in ninth position on 24 points — just one point ahead of the 10th-placed Gold Coast Titans (23 points),
