Wests Tigers Head of Physical Performance Marcus Kain discusses the performances of the players in a strong opening week of pre-season training ahead of 2017.

With only a handful of squad members missing from the opening week due to previous or ongoing representative commitments, Kain praised the efforts of the team in the opening week as they adjust to new structures and training patterns following an extensive break.

In particular, Kain discussed the performances of Mitchell Moses, Jordan Rankin and new recruit Jamal Idris in the opening week, as well a number of the Club's Holden Cup players who are making the transition to the extended NRL squad in 2017.

Kain also revealed exactly what training techniques and loads the coaching staff had been focused on in the opening week, and what the focus will be for next week as well.
