Wests Tigers representative centre Tim Simona and young gun Ryland Jacobs were on hand yesterday to help with Ashfield Kmart's Wishing Tree Appeal.

The pair joined a number of special guests including the NSW Police to help promote the appeal, answering questions and taking photos with fans in their break from training.

The Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal has been in operation for over 25 years, working together with the Salvation Army and Mission Australia to distribute presents for children, adults and seniors currently experiencing harship. The Appeal is Australia's largest and longest running Christmas gift appeal, with more than eight million gifts raised — including more than 386,000 in 2015.
