Wests Tigers will host four exciting fixtures at Leichhardt Oval in 2017, including blockbuster matches against both 2016 Grand Finalists — Melbourne and Cronulla.
The Club’s first game at Leichhardt Oval will be against the Storm on Sunday afternoon, with the Melburnians returning to the scene of their thrilling Golden Point win last year.
Wests Tigers will then face the defending premiers on Saturday, April 29 — a venue the Sharks have won just two games at in the last 16 years and not since 2008.
The run home will again be a crucial time of year for Wests Tigers, and the team will receive a massive boost by playing the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in Round 23 and the New Zealand Warriors in Round 26 — both at Leichhardt Oval. Since 2000, Wests Tigers have only lost twice to the Sea Eagles and Warriors (from seven and five) at Leichhardt.
