Wests Tigers winger David Nofoaluma has been voted by his teammates as the Round 8 Player's Player following his team's 18-12 win over the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

Having played every minute of every game so far this season, Nofoaluma continued his strong start to the season with another blistering performance out on the right wing.

The 23-year-old ran for a team-high 256 metres from his 17 carries on the night — his best total of the season, and the best single-season game by any Wests Tigers player this year.

Add to that his six tackle breaks, a linebreak and a try — which put him past Brett Hodgson and into the top 10 for all-time tries scored for Wests Tigers — and it was a big night indeed!

Nofoaluma has now scored against 14 of the other 15 NRL clubs, with the winger no doubt keeping an eye on the Brisbane Broncos, whom he comes up against in Round 11.
