It wasn’t one standalone effort but the culmination of over 60 individual efforts that has been awarded the VB Hard Earned Effort of the Week for Round 10.

Despite going down to the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Wests Tigers forward Elijah Taylor held his head high with a superb individual effort — playing the full 80 minutes in the middle of the field and racking up an incredible 62 tackles in the Friday night defeat.

In addition to his mountain of defensive work, the former New Zealand international also added his third try for the year, chalked up a linebreak and broke two tackles.

Taylor’s 62 tackles are the most by any Wests Tigers player in a game this season, and the second most tackles in a game by a Wests Tigers player in the Club’s history.

Wests Tigers are back in action this Friday when they take on the Broncos in Brisbane.
