Wests Tigers forward Sauaso Sue spoke to the media on Monday ahead of the Club's Round 16 clash against the Gold Coast Titans at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

Despite going down 24-22 to the Cronulla Sharks in heartbreaking fashion last week, Sue said there were plenty of takeaways from the game for the team to work on this Friday night.

“I think our effort was there, the boys really aimed up," he said.

"Especially when Ava went off, I think the effort was good. I think we tried hard for the majority of the game but it's an 80 minute game and I think we were good for about 72 of that.”

“It was pretty hard to watch over. I think their leaders stepped up and I think thats what we lacked with myself and the leaders not doing our job the last 10 minutes.”

“I think our attitude and preparation was pretty good but I think we just need to do that for 80 minutes.”

Sue was also confident about the prospect of Luke Brooks and Tuimoala Lolohea’s halves combination continuing to develop after a promising start last Saturday.

“They’re really dangerous together, a few more games together and they’ll gel our structures well," he said.
