School to Work participants to attend Youth Summit

Wests Tigers are proud to announce that four participants from the successful School to Work program have been selected to represent the club at the Festival of Indigenous Rugby League Youth Summit to be held in Sydney in February.

Natalia Dingle, Nyimarlli Chalker, Locky Ingram and Declan Dimitropoulos will be part of a group of 68 Indigenous Year 11 students taking part in the Indigenous Youth Summit camp which will promote leadership skills, problem solving skills and help the students build their confidence and cultural identities.

The NRL School to Work program supports Indigenous Students in year 11 and 12 as they prepare to make the transition from school to work or further tertiary education. Support continues 12 months post-school, to help with any challenges or difficulties along the way.

Wests Tigers have supported the School to Work program since 2012, along with the support of the Australian Federal Government.
