Roosters name squad to face Wests Tigers

Sydney Roosters NRL Head Coach Trent Robinson has named his 21-man squad to take on Wests Tigers this Saturday at ANZ Stadium from 4:30pm AEDT.

After a last-start win over the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in their trial match, Robinson has named a strong squad to take on Wests Tigers with several new faces included in the ranks.

Former Wests Tigers fullback James Tedesco has been named at the back for the Tricolours, while the biggest off-season recruit in Cooper Cronk starts at halfback. He is joined in the halves by Mitchell Cornish, with Luke Keary named amongst the reserves as he recovers from a broken jaw.

Interestingly, Siosiua Taukeiaho replaces Dylan Napa in the front row, with the Queensland Origin forward named to come off the bench alongside Zane Tetevano, Ryan Matterson and Victor Radley.

Rugby union convert Reece Robinson has been named amongst the reserves.
