NRL Team Update: Round 1

Wests Tigers Head Coach Ivan Cleary has updated his 19-man squad to take on the Sydney Roosters tomorrow afternoon for their Round 1 clash at ANZ Stadium.

With all 17 players successfully completing today's final training session, no changes are expected to the side with David Nofoaluma and Taane Milne both dropping out of the original squad.

Benji Marshall (calf) has been cleared to make his Wests Tigers return off the interchange bench.

Tim Grant and Matt McIlwrick have been retained as cover for the side, with the latter named to feature in Western Suburbs Magpies' Intrust Super Premiership clash against the Bulldogs on Saturday.

For the Roosters, five-eighth Luke Keary has lost his race against the clock as he recovers from a broken jaw, with Mitchell Cornish set to partner Cooper Cronk in the halves for Saturday's game.

Wests Tigers final team list will be announced at 3:30pm tomorrow, one hour prior to kickoff.
