The high-flying Wests Tigers head to Tamworth this week for their second out-of-town home game in 2018 as they take on the vastly improved Newcastle Knights.
It's been an incredible start to the year from Ivan Cleary's side as they sit comfortably inside the top four after six weeks, and with the New England region set to come alive as the first game of football since the City v Country Origin game in 2016 roars in to town, it's definitely going to be a big day of action!

With the game officially sold out, it's shaping as a cracking atmosphere at Scully Park with two local sides battling it out pre-game before junior league take to the field at half-time for more footy!
Half-time will also see a dance performance take place, as well as the chance to Kick for Cash!
Wests Tigers fans and Members will be able to meet the team at special pre and post-game events.
GETTING TO THE GAME
Tamworth is an easy five-hour drive from Sydney and seven hours from Brisbane.
Scully Park is located on the corner of Kent St. and Belmore St., West Tamworth, 2340.
There is a daily train service to Tamworth from Sydney and between. Tamworth Railway Station is only a couple minutes walk from the CBD. PRE-GAME MEET AND GREET
Meet the players on Friday afternoon (April 20) ahead of the sold out clash between Wests Tigers and Newcastle with a special meet and greet event at Scully Park from 4:00pm to 5:00pm.
With the full squad in attendance, this is definitely an event not to be missed!
POST-MATCH FUNCTION
Following the match, Wests Tigers Members will have access to an exclusive post-match function at West Tamworth Leagues Club — opposite the carpark from Scully Park. The function will begin at 8:00pm in the function room and is open to all 2018 Wests Tigers Members. To gain entry, please display your Membership card or proof of purchase. Wests Tiger Tamworth Members will be given a wristband at the time of ticket collection. The night will include Q&As, players player announcement and the opportunity to meet and greet the playing squad, so make sure you don't miss our special post-match function!
