It was another successful weekend for Wests Tigers in Round 6 — capped off by arguably the NRL's side's finest performance of the season their emphatic victory over the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
Led by the in-form Luke Brooks and Benji Marshall, Wests Tigers raced to their biggest half-time lead since 2009 as they stunned the Lottoland crowd, before closing out the match in style to ensure their brilliant start to the season continued and their current top four spot remained in tact.
Elsewhere, there was last-second drama for both the Intrust Super Premiership and Tarsha Gale sides, while the club's junior representative sides also had their first week of finals take place.

Wests Tigers 38 def. Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles 12 at Lottoland
Ivan Cleary's side made it three wins in a row on Sunday when they trounced the Sea Eagles by 20 points in their own backyard to cement themselves firmly inside the top four of the competition. Luke Brooks had a hand in three tries and scored one himself, while halves partner Benji Marshall wound back the clock with his first brace since 2011 as Wests Tigers ensured their strong start to the season continued — still ranked with the best defence in the competition while moving up to 10th in terms of points scored.

North Sydney Bears 25 def. Western Suburbs Magpies 24 at North Sydney Oval
There was heartbreak for the club's Intrust Super Premiership side, who looked destined to record another strong win after racing to an early 18-0 lead over North Sydney. However, the home side were not to be denied, and sensationally stole the result in the 79th minute with a Dean Hawkins field goal — handing the Magpies their second defeat of the year, both of which have come to last-minute field goals. The loss still leaves Western Suburbs on top of the Intrust Super Premiership ladder with the best attack and defence.

North Sydney Bears 28 def. Wests Tigers 6 at North Sydney Oval
Wests Tigers Jersey Flegg side again struggled to find their feet in the 2018 season, with a sixth straight defeat at the hands of the North Sydney Bears on Saturday morning. The loss leaves Wests Tigers on the bottom of the Jersey Flegg ladder, with a clash against the high-flying Knights next up on the schedule.

Wests Tigers 33 def. Illawarra Steelers 32 at Campbelltown Sports Stadium
Wests Tigers continued their incredible run in the 2018 Tarsha Gale competition as they came from behind to down the Illawarra Steelers in their Qualifying Final at Campbelltown on Sunday. Emily Curtain was the hero for the home side with her field goal in the final minute — earning her side a week off before taking on the winner of the Penrith v Newcastle match next weekend for a spot in the 2018 Grand Final.

Harold Matthews — Cronulla Sharks 22 def. Balmain Tigers 18 at Leichhardt Oval
It was a back-and-forth affair at Leichhardt Oval but Cronulla emerged triumphant in the Harold Matthews Elimination Final, knocking Balmain out of the competition. The Tigers were the only Wests Tigers associated team in the finals series of both competitions, ending the club's chances in the junior grades.
